Here Comes the Flood

In Nashville this week, the millennial flood has eclipsed everything. Fortunately, I have been High and Dry throughout.

When considering a weekend post, Peter Gabriel's song came to mind. You can watch a very early solo version he performed on a Kate Bush Christmas special. But I'm partial to his version on the Robert Fripp Exposure album. No performance video for that but the one above is pleasant enough. The start is a bit awkward as the song transitions without break from the previous cut on the album.

If you're not familiar with this Fripp album, it's a great piece of work with contributions from Daryl Hall, Terre Roche, Peter Hammill, Tony Levin, Jerry Marotta, Narada Michael Walden, Barry Andres, Phil Collins, Brian Eno, and Sid McGinnis in addition to Peter Gabriel.

See you next week.
