Installed Orne

Just to bring Landscape into Art and My Great Day together, here's my Degas copy installed at the Frothy Monkey.

A week of very brief posts. I expect to get back into the swing of things next week.

Hi Suzanne.

Looks good - but you also "removed" something in the foreground?

Thanks, Werner. Yes, you're right! Like you, I removed something from the foreground. Too scrappy!

Hi Dawn and thank you, too. I did like the water soluble oils. Have never tried the regular so really can't tell the difference from them.

I wanted to see, how are doing?
and everything seems to be good in your life.
I would like to see your exhibition in person, but now I can only : Happy, sunny Easter weekend to you !

Hi Suzanne, I tried to leave a comment on "Landscape into Art" but my wireless had the hiccups again...
In any case, this looks great!
I tried water soluble oils when they were new, and liked them quite a bit, but cleanup is still a hassle...
Hope your exhibit is a smashing success!!
Happy Easter :)

It looks PERFECT in that space. And it's nice to see a painting in a space, come to think of it; on the blogs it's always the painting floating in it's electronic frame ...
Congratulations!
